"I can't wait for Friday"
Hello friends,
I hope that you are feeling well and ready, because I certainly feel ready to rock the world. I'm feeling very excited about the future right now, and I feel like that everything is moving into an amazing direction. I hope that this flow will continue on for a while.
Today we are going to talk about something that a friend and I talked about this week: The fact, that many people just live for the weekend.
For most people, their weeks start with the struggle of getting out of bed on a Monday morning, going through their 9/5 and living day by day. Every day feels long and heavy, and you can't wait until Friday arrives: There, many people go out to party or in a bar to getting drunk and live a degenerate lifestyle. People consume and consume. If you are fit enough, you repeat the same cycle on Saturday and try to get your energy back on Sunday.
Then you do it all again.
Week by week, every time desperately hoping for the weekend to arrive.
The problem? Your life sucks 5 out of 7 days.
Make every day yours
If you live for the weekend, you are basically wasting away your life. You are working 5 days for 2 days of a little bit of pleasure, then the cycle repeats.
And honestly, it doesn't even matter if you are using those two days to just play video games, or if you are actually using those two days productively and to meet the people you care about: It's more about the mindset.
The mindset that you have about your weeks and about your weekends is very important.
Before we get into that, let's take a small detour: Listen, I know that being a degenerate is fun, but please don't waste all your weekends to party or going out to drink or smoke. That's the problem about it. You are having a lot of fun by consuming a lot. And this is something that I suggest, that you reduce the time doing those things step by step.
I'm not telling you to not go out and have fun. I'm telling you to go out and have fun intentionally, instead of just doing it because it became a habit or because you have nothing else to do.
And with that out of the way, back to the main topic.
Imagine that a magic spirit came to you and said, that you only would have 7 days to live and there is no way you can avoid death. How would you spend those days?
There are things that you could do like travelling, spending time with people that are close to you, spending time alone or anything else. Would you go to school? Would you go to work? Whom would you write a letter to? Who would you want to see?
If you had 7 days to live, most of the people wouldn't go to work. Their work just isn't that fun.
So I want you to challenge yourself to ask you the following: What would you do, so that your days become more worth it? And this can be in whatever direction you want it to be: More productive, where you feel happier or where you are working more on yourself.
With that, even if you have to work a 9/5, you can make every day worth it over time. You have to build it up slowly. Learn to manage time, and use it to your advantage.
If you need help with managing your time right, this blog post is for you.
My challenge for you
I want you to get yourself some paper, a notepad or whatever, so that you can write things on it. Reflect on your last weekend: What did you do? How did you spend your time? Was it a good investment? Did you enjoy yourself?
And now ask yourself: Can you adopt a few things that you do on the weekends to your day-to-day life? Can you make your days even better?
Then go out there and change the one thing with the biggest return on investment.

Last week's Challenge
Last week's challenge was about doing tiny tasks more often, and to build up discipline. This went surprisingly well: I produced more music, I managed my time better, and I finally hit the gym again for a 2h session with Jeff. The challenge helped me a lot, although it all started with something tiny.
How was the challenge for you? Let me know via Mail or IG.
My Song of the week
Imagine the pharaoh of a pyramid awakening again and walking outside this pyramid. Menace.
